SA-AL Køleteknik, part of Nordic Climate Group, has acquired the Aalborg-based company Eurefa Nord. The addition marks a strategic step to enhance AS-AL’s local presence and technical capacity in the Aalborg area.
Eurefa Nord has built a strong position through its solutions for industry and public-sector customers, and not least as a result of its technical competence, high level of professionalism, and good customer relations. The company is now integrated into SA-AL Køleteknik’s existing organization in Aalborg.
– “Eurefa Nord is a great complement to SA-AL. We share the same values, quality mindset, and focus on delivering stable and energy-efficient solutions to our customers. With their team, we’re gaining significant competence and can increase our local presence,” explains Rune Høyer, CEO of SA-AL Køleteknik.
“We’re entering a natural generational transition and view joining SA-AL as an excellent solution – for us and for our customers. We can become a stronger unit with more resources, and that better prepares us to take on larger and more complex projects. At the same time, we can contribute to SA-AL with our experience in datacentres and IT solutions, for which we’re seeing increasing demand in the market,” says Per Pedersen, Operations Manager for Eurefa Nord.
The integration makes Eurefa Nord part of SA-AL Køleteknik’s overarching organization, where employees work closely across departmental and operational boundaries. Focus on local activities and daily contact with customers will continue as before, now with access to more resources and a strong professional network.
“Eurefa Nord can provide SA-AL with valuable technological know-how and well-established local customer relations. Aalborg is an important region for us, and with this addition, we’re strengthening both our capacity and our ability to deliver tailor-made solutions to industry and the public sector. It’s a great example of how we can develop together with highly competent, locally based firms,” notes Tue Sjøntoft, Country Manager Denmark for Nordic Climate Group.
The acquisition is part of Nordic Climate Group’s strategy to bring together strong local companies with exceptional technical competence and a shared focus on sustainable solutions. The group comprises 13 companies, with more than 260 employees in Denmark and operations in more than 100 locations in five countries.
