Sustainability Report 2024
We are proud to present Nordic Climate Group’s Sustainability Report for 2024 – our first report since our climate targets were officially approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This marks an important milestone, where we can now, for the first time, report concrete progress toward the targets and demonstrate how we are aligning with the ambition to limit global warming to 1.5 °C.
Our largest source of emissions is linked to energy consumption and the use of refrigerants in new heating and cooling installations. In 2024, by increasing our focus on energy use, we have succeeded in reducing emissions from these sources by 13.8% compared to 2023. This not only results in a lower climate impact, but also reduces energy costs for our customers.
Since our founding in 2021, our vision has been to lead the industry’s transition toward natural refrigerants, with a strong focus on high energy efficiency and a minimal climate footprint. That journey is now gaining even more momentum, in line with the European F-gas regulation, which requires a significant reduction in the use of fluorinated refrigerants by 2030.
